When trying to find the best beach Brisbane has to offer the little ones you will discover that you are spoilt for choice. The Brisbane area is world famous for its stunning coastline. And the gorgeous beaches are easily reached from the city centre.

However, as fabulous as the sand and surf undoubtedly are kids can easily become restless if there is nothing else on offer. They want activities and adventure. 3) Lower Moora Park Shorncliffe – this is not just a wonderful beach but also an exciting playground area that’s right on the water. There are ample BBQ provisions as well, and the sea is normally calm.

4) Paradise Point – boasts a myriad of attractions including a fenced off water area, paths for riding and walking and big wide open spaces for ball games.

5) Pelican Beach at Labrador Gold Coast – gorgeous sand and calm sea. Check. Great park for the kids. Check. Picnic and BBQ area. Check. Plenty of fish and chip shops. Check. Feed the pelicans when they come in. Check. What more could you want from a great family day out at the beach?
