One of the most vibrant districts to explore after dark is Chowpatty Beach. Here visitors will find plenty of interesting bars and colourful cabarets and the fun often spills over onto the nearby Colaba Causeway.

Visitors to Mumbai that really want to let their hair down should check out Juhu Beach. The discos here are open to both local people and travellers alike, while Juhu Beach also boasts some of the trendiest pubs in the whole city.

People who want to strut their stuff on the dance floor will really be spoiled for choice in Mumbai. One of the most popular clubs is Copa Cobano, which pumps out Latin music long into the night, while the Taj Mahal Intercontinental is also a great place to shake a tail feather.

Mumbai is famous for its theatre scene, and this city boasts the world’s largest movie industry. Visitors should take time to watch a Bollywood film at one of the large air conditioned cinemas that can be found scattered throughout Mumbai.
